Four months after one of the biggest pandemics to hit the world, I’m finally back eating at a restaurant. A casual and friendly neighbourhood restaurant in West Hampstead, Hām heros British produce from all over the UK in every dish.
Situated inside Flat Iron Square, by London Bridge, Bar Douro may just be the best home to the Portuguese food I have tasted outside of the capital…. and those Pastel de Natas

With so many eateries to choose from in Chinatown, it’s hard to know which ones to go to. On the outside many of them look the same, but it really is on the inside that counts.
After hearing such great things about Robin and Sarah Gill’s other restaurants: The Dairy, Counter Culture and Sorella, I was incredibly excited to head to their newest venture, Darby’s.
This restaurant has big personality. From the bottle lined walls to the creamiest burrata, I continue to be surprised every time I visit this Italian restaurant.

For exceptional wine paired with delicious sharing plates, a visit to Bottles in either Chelsea or Spitalfields should be top of the agenda.
Galvin at Windows
Another restaurant with views over the city, what I love about Galvin at Windows is that it offers a variety of menus with different price points, making it a favourable place to dine for many.
Nestled on the 24th floor of Tower 42, is Jason Antherton’s Michelin star restaurant, City Social. It’s also home to one of the best Apple Tartans I have ever tasted.
